DEEP THOUGHT ALERT: As a performer, I feel like I can do my absolute best to connect with the audience, but if they're not open for business/willing to travel, there's only so much I can do. The audience, in my view, contributes equally to the feeling of emotional levitation that can be experienced in the best moments of live music. The show that comprises this album was one of my favorite shows ever, and I couldn't have done it without the audience being so present and eager.
